New Music Performance Group at Elsa

Dear Parent(s),
As you will see on our school calendar, there is an Elsa High School CAS Focus Week this term from March 12-16 and I am writing to ask for your support in finding performance venues during these dates for our new Elsa Music Performance Group. The students involved have practiced every week for most of the year, have performed for their peers here at school and are now keen to perform in public.
Creativity, Action and Service (CAS) are integral and compulsory parts of both the IB Middle Years Programme and Diploma Programme. This ensures that our students gain a well-rounded education, with activities and skills learned outside the classroom as well as inside the classroom.
Our Music Group is looking for appropriate venues during the CAS Focus Week – performances would need to be during the hours of a normal school day.
Venues could include such places as retirement/community centers, schools or any public gathering places.
If you can provide contacts and/or opportunities for these types of performances, please contact the group organizer, Mark Smith, at mark.smith@carmel.edu.hk.
