Science

We are now looking at the processes and organs involved with digestion.

Math

We have been working hard with place value of and rounding of numbers. Mr D's group are now looking at expressions and equations.

Social Studies

We have looked at general geographical features in the world, shared some important aspects on China and the USA and have started working on projects related to one state in the USA.

Language Arts

We have carried on reading our class novel "Holes" by Louis Sachar, in relation to which we've done letter writing, creative presentations, discussions, reading comprehension activities and journal writing. We have also started with our weekly spelling scheme.

Class meeting

We have discussed goal setting and its importance. Students have set academic and personal goals for themselves, pointing out their 'target dates' and the steps they will undertake to achieve them.
