| Judy Epstein comes from Berkeley, California. After graduating high school, she spent a year in Israel on a youth program. Subsequently, she studied at University of California, Berkeley, San Diego State College, and received her B.A. in Jewish Studies and Education from Empire State College in Rochester, N.Y. Judy has been teaching various ages from Pre-School to adults since 1967. She moved to Hong Kong in 2001and has been teaching at Carmel since that time. She teaches Jewish Studies and Ulpan Hebrew this year. | |
| Amalia Clyman was born in Israel. She received her teaching license in Special Education from Orot Teachers' Seminary, Elkana, Israel. Her Bachelor's Degree is from Lifshitz College for Teachers in Jerusalem. She received her Learning Disability Examination license from David Yellin Teachers College in Israel. Mali taught for 11 years in the Yitzchak Rabin Middle School in Givat Ze'ev as a teacher and coordinator for special education, and she spent one year in the Ziv Marx Middle and High School in Jerusalem. This is Mali's first year in Carmel School and in Hong Kong where she teaches Jewish Studies and Hebrew. | |
| Yoel Clyman was born in Newburg, New York and made Aliya to Israel with his family in 1972. He received his teacher's license from Yaacov Herzog Teachers College in Alon Shevut and his B.Ed from Jerusalem Michlala in Bayit Vagan, Israel. His M.A. in Jewish History is from Touro College Jerusalem branch, Israel, and he has been teaching for 16 years in Israeli elementary and high schools. He has taught Jewish Studies subjects such as Tanach (bible), Jewish law, history, and geography of Israel. He is also a licensed tour guide in Israel. This is Yoel's first year in Carmel School and in Hong Kong where he teaches Jewish Studies and Hebrew. | |
