All parents are members of the PTA and an annual fee of HK$600 for each child at school is mandatory. PTA Board membership is determined via annual election. However, chairmanship of projects and activities is not limited to board members. Opportunities are open to all parents to get involved.
Funds raised by the PTA go toward the preparation of the Carmel School Student Directory, which families rely on for keeping in touch with one another. Each family gets one complimentary directory with the payment of annual PTA fees. Also, funds raised help to partially underwrite the production of the School's yearbook and calendar.
Each year, PTA helps to support extracurricular activities that supplement the school's core educational program. These include Shabbat dinners, celebrations of Hanukkah, Purim and Israeli Independence Day, etc.

Carmel School has a very active and dedicated Parent Teacher Association (PTA) whose main objective is to support the school via volunteerism and fundraising. Other responsibilities include sponsoring, organizing and assisting with special events throughout the school year.
