Jewish Values

Jewish life is the heartbeat of our community. As a Modern Orthodox, International Baccalaureate (IB) Continuum School, we provide a unique environment where academic excellence and deep-rooted Jewish values go hand-in-hand.

A Vibrant Tapestry of Tradition and Learning

We follow Modern Orthodox principles as set out in the Shulchan Aruch (Code of Jewish Law). From the Holly Rofé Early Learning Centre through to the Elsa High School section, we encourage every child, regardless of their level of personal affiliation, to take pride in their Jewish identity.

Jewish Life in Action

  • Daily Practice: Students engage in daily Tefillah (prayer) and explore the richness of the Tanach (Torah) and Jewish history.

  • Hebrew Language: Our "Chalav Ud’vash" and "Word Fun" programs immerse our youngest learners in Hebrew, while older students achieve fluency through a rigorous curriculum.

  • Celebrating the Calendar: The school year is punctuated by the joy of the Chagim (festivals). Whether it’s baking Hamantashen for Purim or hosting school-wide Shabbat parties, our campuses are alive with celebration.

  • A Global Connection: Through educational visits around the world, we connect our students to the wider Jewish world, its history, and its culture.

We pride ourselves on being an inclusive environment where parents, educators, and students work together. We ask our community to support our ethos by respecting the laws of Kashrut and Shabbat, ensuring that every family feels welcomed and comfortable in our shared spaces.
