High School (Grade 6-12)

We provide a unique programme integrating the best of international, religious and secular education; an international perspective rooted in Jewish ethos, philosophy and values; and a commitment to partnerships between staff, students, parents and the community.

So much of what happens at Carmel remains student-led and run. Elsa High School has an active and committed Student Council who assist in organising a variety of exciting events throughout the year, and our House Captains and Vice Captains — for the three Houses, Jerusalem, Haifa and Tel-Aviv — help to ensure a healthy competitive spirit runs throughout the school, and especially so during Inter-House sports and academic events, and the annual Sports Days.

Grade 6-10: MYP

The MYP aims to develop active learners and internationally minded young people who can empathize with others and pursue lives of purpose and meaning. The programme empowers students to inquire into a wide range of issues and ideas of significance locally, nationally and globally.

Grade 11-12: DP

Our Grade 11 and 12 curriculum follows the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IB DP). The IB Diploma encourages intellectual growth, academic rigour, and personal development through a holistic and balanced approach.
