Carmel School Association comprises three school sections located on three campuses on Hong Kong Island: the Holly Rofé Early Learning Centre (ages 1–4) housed at our JCC campus; Carmel Elementary (ages 5–11) situated at our Borrett Road campus; Elsa High School (ages 11–18) at our Shau Kei Wan campus.

We are committed to keeping the admissions process for new students highly personalised, giving each applicant thorough and individual consideration.

Gaining entry and acceptance to one of the Carmel School sections has been simplified into a process of five easy to follow steps:

1. Contact the school

The first step in applying to Carmel School association is to contact the Admissions Office at admin@carmel.edu.hk or by calling +852 3665 5388.

2. Download and complete the application forms

Please complete the relevant forms and return them to our admissions officer. Our admissions officer will contact you to set up a time for you and your child/children to meet with either the Principal or Head of Elementary.

Application forms can be downloaded here:

3. Campus visit

During the visit, prospective students will meet current students, and parents will have the opportunity to tour the school and meet senior staff. Each applicant will also be interviewed by either the Principal or Head of Elementary.

4. Criteria for entry

All candidates will have an on-campus interview with either the Principal or Head of Elementary. Criteria for admission includes, but is not limited to, academic ability based on past scholastic performance, test scores, an on-campus visit and interview, and past and present teacher recommendations.

5. Acceptance

The final stage of the enrolment process is acceptance. A letter of acceptance will be sent to you once your child has been accepted. At this point, you will be requested to pay your non-refundable deposit, in order to guarantee the place that has been offered.
