About Us
Carmel is an all-through school from pre Nursery through to Grade 12, comprising an Early Learning Centre, an International Baccalaureate (IB) PYP School, MYP and DP. Serving both the Jewish and international community, Carmel strives to develop independent self-directed learners.

Hong Kong Mathematics Kangaroo Contest

Congratulations to Shahar (G10), Aline (G9), Ethan (G8), and Jacky (G7) for achieving Second Prize in the 2026 Hong Kong Mathematics Kangaroo Contest (HKMKC). The Mathematics Kangaroo Competition is one of the world’s largest international mathematics competitions, with participation from 108 countries and more than 7 million students worldwide. Our students prepared consistently throughout the year, attending weekly training sessions in the school’s Maths Competition Club and dedicating additional time outside of lessons to develop their problem-solving skills. It was especially rewarding to see them recognised at such a prestigious award ceremony alongside many talented young mathematicians from across Hong Kong.

Their achievement is a proud milestone for Carmel and reflects the students’ perseverance, curiosity, and commitment to mathematical thinking. We hope this success will inspire even more students to join the Maths Competition Club and challenge themselves in future competitions.
