Students should always be aware of what they bring with them to sporting events as well as ensure they keep their stuff in a safe place. It is recommended that the student brings a padlock with them as every public LCSD venue will have available lockers for them to store their bags if required.

Debating is a vital skill for every young person. In the Debate Club, we develop the ability to view current local and global issues from multiple perspectives.
Elsa High School’s debate team has a rich heritage in debating. We participate in the Hong Kong Secondary School Debate Championships against both international and local schools.
Some highlights of the club’s calendar include the ElsaMUN, a Model United Nations held at Elsa, in which we discuss issues of global importance with a view to passing resolutions which have taken into account the views and priorities of many countries. This lays the foundation for our participation in Hong Kong Model United Nations.
'Bet Midrash’ program takes place once a week on a voluntary basis. We learn talmudic and biblical concepts, and get to take a closer look at the oral torah (gemara and mishna). A group of boys learn together in “chavruta”, which allows them to benefit from each other’s ideas. This is a special opportunity to get a deeper connection with the ancient and influential Jewish texts.
The netball programme is designed to continue the development of netball at Elsa High School. Enjoyment and energy are at the core of the student centered model, while giving those with commitment and talent the opportunity to develop the skills to become elite performers.
Whether or not your child has had the opportunity before to learn the basic movement and ball handling skills, this CCA will build and develop those skills with an additional focus on game play, positional understanding and the rules of the game.
