Over last few weeks in Jewish Studies we have been learning about key events in Jewish history. Each grade learned a different part of the Jewish timeline from the period of Avraham all the way to the 19th century. For this special unit each student played the role of historian. Their job was to present the Jewish timeline in the most positive way they could before the Emperor or King of his time. The task was to present the timeline of the era we learned in class, introduce five main events from the timeline and create an object - that the students created on their own - that best represented the time period they researched.
During the lessons in Jewish studies we visited the Art Room and STEAM lab so the students could start thinking about their project and then they started working. The final outcomes were amazing! The students presented beautiful ideas, objects and posters, and it was a fun learning experience to follow them on the path of creation.
