This Friday we will be celebrating Chag Shavuot. Shavuot celebrates the revelation of the Torah on Mt. Sinai to the Jewish people and occurs on the 50th day from Pesach, after the 49 days of counting the Omer. Shavuot is one of the three “Regalim”, where the Jewish people would gather at the Temple in Jerusalem and participate in festivities and rituals.

The Hebrew department launched a project to decorate our school and Hebrew students made paper mache decorations - something creative and fun for this special holiday.
