Firstly, I would like to say a very big thank-you for all your support online this week, but especially for joining in on our Online Demonstration Seder. It was such a huge success and I was so pleased to see all the children so involved.
This week during our online learning classes, we completed our current Unit of Inquiry - Where our food comes from. We took time to analyse why it is important to know where our food comes from, and to spend time reflecting on the unit of inquiry. The children have really taken a lot away from this unit which was evident in our discussions.
For maths, we have continued looking at addition. We played a very fun game of dice and adding the two dice together. This was a challenge to see who could roll and count all the numbers from 2-12 first. Well done at your addition, Pre-K S!!
During our PE, we have worked our body with big, fun, fitness movements. We learnt some new moves and finished with a nice, gentle yoga. Thank you to all who participated and got their bodies moving.
Wishing you all a safe and happy Pesach break.
"This week, we discussed about what the plants need in order to grow, the children were very interested in this and some children showed us their plant. Also we learned a song about shopping."- Ms Vivian
"In Jewish studies this week we continued to prepare for Pesach! We had the most fantastic demonstration Seder yesterday and can’t wait to celebrate Pesach with our families! Wishing you all a Chag Kasher V’Sameach!" - Morah Shoshana
