We have had a wonderful week delving into our new Unit of Inquiry 'Sharing the Planet' - People can have an impact on the ocean. The children started the week, walking into their newly decorated classroom, which had been destroyed with trash everywhere. This really gave the children a shock and they were "disgusted" as they sat amongst the rubbish to do Tefilla. After Tefilla, they all agreed that we should clean up the trash which they promptly did. If you have any toys/books or anything related to our current Unit that your child would like to share, please send them in next week.

During PE this week, we really enjoyed pretending to be ocean animals. We had 12 different ocean animal actions including sharks, dolphins, crabs, starfish and sea snails. These variety of animals and actions allowed us to really work on our coordination and gross motor development. I was very impressed to see the children really giving each new movement their very best efforts. Well done, Pre-K S!

We have had another successful Show & Tell, a very popular segment on Thursday, with everyone growing in confidence as they present to the class. We are also becoming very good at asking questions which prompts more than yes or no responses. As of next week, we will start the timetable. I will put a printed copy in your schoolbag and please find a copy in your email.

Wishing you all a wonderful weekend!

Shabbat shalom.

Steph Julian, Pre K S Teacher
