What a wonderful few weeks we have had in Tzutzik and Ganeynu!
In Tzutzik, the children have had a busy weeks learning about ‘Wild Animals’ and ‘Transportation’ through songs, stories and arts & crafts. In Ganeynu, the children have had three busy weeks learning about ‘Nursery Rhymes’. I am sure you will enjoy the beautiful book that your child prepared on this subject.
The children in Tzutzik and Ganeynu have just started the beautiful subject of Chanukah, “The festival of lights”. We have prepared an amazing festive program on this subject. Please find below some of the holiday’s songs, to sing with your children at home.
Today your child will bring home his/her special Chanukiyah (Chanukah Menorah). We hope you will enjoy lighting the Chanukah candles together. (Please pay attention to the fact that the Chanukiyot are made of wood and are flammable, so do not leave them lit with no supervision). You will also be receiving Chanukah candles and the laminated blessing.
Next Friday, Dec 3rd we will enjoy a Chanukah party in the classrooms (children only). We will sing and dance with the children pretending we are dreidels and we will also eat yummy Suvganiot (donuts) provided by Carmel PTA, with thanks.
Please mark the following dates on your calendar:
- Dec 3rd – Tzutzik and Ganeynu Chanukah party (No parents)
- Dec 17th – Last school day before the winter break
- Dec 18th- Jan 2nd – Winter break
