Our U16 season was a story of resilience, teamwork, and tremendous growth, ending in a heartbreakingly close finish that could not diminish our extraordinary accomplishments. The campaign kicked off with a signal of intent, a thrilling 4-3 win against Island School, powered by Itay’s stunning hat trick and a strike from Noah. This set the tone for a season defined by offensive firepower. We proved our mettle with a hard fought 2-2 draw against a strong Singapore International side, our biggest test at that time. The squad then hit its stride. A comfortable 2-1 win over Harrow, courtesy of Itay and Rafa, showcased our control, before an explosive 7-0 victory against Australian International, where Noah’s hat-trick and Rafa’s four goal haul displayed our devastating potential. A commanding 6-0 win over Stamford sealed a perfect league run, placing us first and brimming with confidence.

The knockout stages tested our character. In a tense semi final rematch with Singapore International, a moment of magic from Itay, a perfect free-kick, secured a gritty 1-0 victory and our place in the final. The stage was set for a title decider against Island School. In an action packed match, goals from Captain Noah and the ever-reliable Itay saw us fight to a 2-2 draw through normal time. Ultimately, after mistakes in the cruellest of circumstances, we fell 4-2 in a penalty shootout.

The silver medals were bittersweet, but the season was a success. We exceeded all expectations, playing attractive, determined football. Our attacking trio was phenomenal, but every player contributed to a formidable unit. A special and heartfelt thank you to Mr. Banks and Mr. Dyus for their exceptional guidance, commitment, and belief throughout this action packed journey. While we didn't grab the gold, we built a foundation of pride and a winning mentality that will drive us forward. This team’s heart and talent promise even greater things ahead.
