On Wednesday 23 April the Carmel School Girls’ U12s played their first game of the season in Tseung Kwan O. I was really excited, but also a little nervous. It was a challenging game against a tough Sha Tin College, and the scorching hot weather made it hard for both teams.

It was great to score my first two goals for the team and hopefully I can get many more! We battled hard for the whole game, we even scored first and held them to 2-2 at half time, and although we didn’t win, we never gave up and pushed them right until the end. Hopefully, we will improve as we play more games and become a strong team together.

It was great to represent the school and I look forward to playing more games with my teammates this year. I really enjoyed being part of the team, and I will work hard to improve after every game.
