On Wednesday 22 May, the U12 Girls’ football team travelled to Kowloon to play against the American International School. As we got on the bus, the excitement and positivity of the whole team was just amazing. We went in there ready to play our best and have fun! After Mr. Baldwin and Coach Rainbow's very inspiring pep talk we started to play.

The team started off amazingly and played really well! It felt like everyone was so kind and gave positive comments and vibes. It was really nice to play with a team environment that always provides so much support no matter what. The girls loved it and no one gave up! Mr. Baldwin was so proud of everyone and was pleased with our teamwork.

The first half was tough, but great goals from Maya and Aline gave us a good lead at half time. We could have had more: we hit the post a couple of times and their goalkeeper made some great saves. The second half was a great defensive display, and we showed good focus, keeping AIS at bay. Tali sealed the game for us with another brilliant goal making the full time score 3-0. 

A great and positive overall display from the whole team, especially from our defenders and volunteer goalkeepers, letting nothing past them.
