On Thursday 23 May, our U12 team traveled to play against an extremely intimidating and tough team, Nord Anglia. We entered the match with some of us feeling exhilarated after only a day since our last match; some of us were feeling anxious. 

The game started evenly and was 0-0 at halftime despite many shots on goal and hitting their post a few times. Ten minutes into the second half, the opposing team scored a lucky goal after a throw-in bounced through everyone letting them take an easy shot unmarked. The score was 1-0 and our nerves were showing but we were more determined than nervous. Shortly after their goal, Talia scored an outstanding goal bringing the score to a tie. Nord Anglia managed to score another goal bringing the score to 2-1. 

After an amazing assist from Tali to Talia, Talia scored another goal! Although our team was beaten and drenched by the rain, we did not give up, we played strong and consistently. Shortly after, Talia scored another - an astounding hat trick! There were only 5 more minutes until the match ended, but we still did not give up, we stayed determined and strong and before we knew it, the match was over leaving us with a 3-2 win!
