This week the CSA U14 Girls’ football team had our first match of the season. On the drive to the pitch the adrenaline and nerves kicked in - we only had half the squad because the other half was on the Achdut trip!  

We started the match well by taking an early lead through a great finish from Felix. The warm weather and tough conditions did not stop the team from pushing for another, though we went in 1-0 at half time. 

CIS drew level early in the second half. Despite being left with no available subs due to injury, we regained the lead through a wonderfully rebounded shot from Talia. Unfortunately in the last moments of the game CIS scored an equalizer ending the game in a 2-2 draw. 

Despite the results the team showed great teamwork and determination. We are all looking forward to the next match and to playing as a full team again.
