Our last game in 2024 saw us grind out a 2-1 victory against AISHK.

It was a superb team performance from the boys who all got minutes on the pitch today. The early stages of the game started a bit slowly as both teams tried to get a foot hold of things. AISHK broke the deadlock with an excellently taken goal that you just had to sit back and applaud. Credit to the boys they bounced back and managed to work a chance with Itay playing a great ball to Ariel who squared it for Cedric to tap in. 

We were back in the game with things levelled at half time but one man changed the game. Shahar’s tenacious work and effort in the second half lifted the spirit of the boys. He refused to give up on every ball and because of this attitude he dug out a cross for Itay midway through the second half and Itay gladly slotted it home to make it 2-1 to the boys in blue. 

From here we worked together to be defensively solid to see out the game. Great feeling for the boys to finish this year with 3 wins from 3.
