It was back to winning ways for the U16 footballers with an impressive 2-1 victory over top-of-the-table Singapore International School last term. Itay was outstanding, scoring a brilliant goal to give the team the lead before halftime. The second half was tightly contested, with SIS eventually equalizing after a period of sustained pressure. Noah’s calm and solid defensive work proved vital, as he won a key interception in midfield to spark the counterattack that led to Itay’s winning goal. Ariel was also fantastic in attack, constantly putting the SIS defense under pressure and creating chances.
It was hard to pick a Man of the Match with so many great performances, but Noah’s consistency and composure earned him the recognition. A great team effort heading into the playoffs!
