Learning a musical instrument is known to have many benefits in a child’s development. Perseverance, discipline, increased co-ordination, and boosting memory capacity to name just a few. There are also the social skills that develop through playing an orchestral instrument such as team work, and responsibility.
We are pleased to announce that Mr. Hunnisett will continue to offer flute, clarinet and saxophone lessons at the Elsa High School campus, available to all students in Grades 4 to 12.
- All levels including beginners are welcome.
- Lessons will be offered on a weekly 30 minute one-to-one basis.
- Lessons will take place on Wednesdays between 1:05-4:30pm.
- Lessons will be on a weekly rotation so students avoid missing the same lessons/CCA.
Mr. Hunnisett is a qualified and experienced woodwind teacher who has worked in schools such as Dulwich College, Seoul, Kellett and The American School in Hong Kong. He has had many students pass Associated Board of Music exams in the UK, Korea and in Hong Kong, and has a friendly, patient manner with students of all ages and abilities.
