SoCo Hong Kong

Growing up in the local areas of Hong Kong, Eden and I (Ativa) are passionate about working with Hong Kong charity organisations which provide help to local communities. The issue of poverty in Hong Kong is gradually increasing and over the past two years this issue has been further amplified due to the impacts of COVID. In Hong Kong, one in every five children cannot afford to have breakfast and many cannot afford to live in apartments and as a result are living in cages or on the streets. SoCo Hong Kong is an organisation that works with many local corporate entities to donate food to people in shelters around Hong Kong, cage dwellers or other homeless individuals. They are a food bank that is dedicated to tackling the issue of hunger within Hong Kong.

What can you do?

For our service project we will be working with SoCo and launching another exciting INTER-GRADE COMPETITION. We will be collecting food and clothing for people all over Hong Kong. The following are items that are most needed:

  • Canned sardines, tuna, beans
  • Legumes
  • Rice or noodles
  • Jackets
  • Blankets
  • Socks

The drive will begin on Wednesday 10 November and will end on Friday 26 November. Any number of items will can make a huge difference.

Thank you all for your support.
